And although the retail price is $1650 you can rent this bag for only $73 a week or $215 a month.

Oscar Fashion Favorites 2008

I didn't get a chance to post this yesterday but I wanted to find out what you guys thought of the red carpet fashion at the 2008 Oscars. The red carpet in general was a little disappointing...where was everybody? Here are my top four picks. I think Jenifer Garner has the overall best look. Jennifer Garner. Shown: Jennifer Garner, in Oscar de la Renta, Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry, and a Roger Vivier clutch. Cameron Diaz, in Christian Dior, Bulgari jewelry, and a Roger Vivier clutch. Cate Blanchett, in Dries Van Noten with a Roger Vivier clutch. Amy Ryan, in Calvin Klein Collection and H. Stern jewelry.

Becky Kelso Jewelry

I came across this jewelry link by Becky Kelso on Shoptwigs. The rich and intricate gold detailing combined with the blue and purple semi-precious stones works together wonderfully. Each piece feels like a little treasure. 18k.

Twenty8Twelve by Sienna Miller

Sienna Miller and her sister Savannah have launched their own fashion line Twenty8Twelve. Sienna has long been a style icon and her sister Savannah has worked as a fashion designer for Alexander McQueen and Mathew Williamson. The name of the new line actually comes from Sienna's birthday - December 28th. Here is a sneak peak at some of the pieces. Most of the collection at this point is black or white and definitely has a british styling to it. Available at Shopbop.

Three Ways to Wear a Vest

So I recently bought this new pinstripe vest and I did some research on different ways to wear it. Here are some ideas 1. Pair with a short sleeve blouse 2. Pair with a screen printed rocker tee (like the ones Kate Moss did for Topshop) 3. Pair with a tank top or camisole.

Intervene Foundation by Elizabeth Arden

Intervene foundations is a liquid makeup product by Elizabeth Arden. It contains Biodormin™ which helps fight signs of aging. The mineral pigment helps create a smooth and even surface and hide imperfections. And Intervene contains SPF 15 so it is perfect for the upcoming spring and summer months. I was asked to try Invervene and I was really happy with the product. It left a nice glowing finish to my skin and it blended in perfectly to create a natural look. Here is a picture of me wearing Intervene.

Halston - Then and Now

Luxury 70's brand Halston has recently been relaunched with Harvey Weinstein leading the charge. The newly appointed creative director for Halston is Marco Zanini, whom previously worked for Donatella Versace. Halston made a big splash at it's runway debut last week with Liza Minnelli arriving on the arm of Harvey Weinstein in a vintage Halston pantsuit. Halston's Fall collection definitely has a 70's re-make feel. It will be interesting to see if the line maintains it's retro inspiration moving forward.

Her collection of pieces come in a range of metals including sterling silver, solid 14K yellow and rose gold and 18k vermeil. Each design is handcrafted in Sarkilahti's Brooklyn studio. The collection has a nice sense of whimsy and wearing a piece of Odette jewelry makes you feel like you are a fairy princess (not all of us have let that day dream go).

Anna Corinna Handbags

I love this handbag by Anna Corinna of Foley + Corinna. The mix of metallic silver and black leather in diaganol stripes gives the bag an edgy look. After carrying a large bag for the last year, this smaller bag 20"W x10"H x 5.5"D seems like the perfect size. Available at Revolve Clothing.

Designer Binetti

Online retailer Shop Bop has incorporated up and coming designer Binetti into it's repatoire of edgey designers. These looks are from Binetti's latest collection. I would describe the style as fur trapper meets little house on the praire and somehow it all works!

BCBG Fashion Show - Always a Pleasure

Friday was a dark rainy wet day in New York. No wonder one of the BCBG models slipped and fell on her tush during the runway show. BCBG is one of my favorite clothing lines. They always have innovative yet wearable clothing, shoes and handbags. And their Fall Collection continues the legacy.
